UAE National Orchestra Debut Concert 2026

Some beginnings carry weight. This was one of them.

On 15 January 2026, the UAE National Orchestra took the stage for the first time. Emirates Palace Auditorium became the setting for a new cultural chapter.

Under the leadership of Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi and Managing Director Alia bint Khalid Al Qassimi, this evening introduced the orchestra's identity to the world. Its ambition. Its artistic soul. The audience; royalty, ministers, ambassadors, and cultural leaders from across the region and beyond; bore witness to something the UAE had been building toward for a long time.

Done+Dusted was entrusted to bring it to life.

“The Beginning” opened with a pre-show co-created with Bani & Al. The Rababa played. Voices chanted. Percussion anchored the room in something cultural and alive. Before a single orchestral note sounded, the audience understood what this institution stood for.

Heritage is the UAE National Orchestra’s foundation.

Four weeks. Evolving scope. Over 430 staff and suppliers. 114 hours on site.

We delivered end-to-end: creative direction, technical production, an 18-camera broadcast capture, custom lighting design, and a bespoke audio system engineered for the auditorium's scale. Backstage, we coordinated 100+ musicians and choir members across allocated spaces. On the floor, roughly 1,000 guests moved through a tiered hospitality journey mapped across Emirates Palace where every touchpoint was considered.

Three hundred VIP invitation boxes were designed and produced. Each one contained a custom vinyl pressing.

Composer Nadim Tarabay's original work anchored the programme. Oud maestro Naseer Shamma and Kanun virtuoso Aytaç Doğan joined the orchestra. Hussein Al Jasmi and Ahlam were present. So was His Highness Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan; UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

The UAE National Orchestra stepped onto the world stage with clarity, confidence, and a creative foundation built to last. Done+Dusted set a new regional benchmark for orchestral launch productions.

More than that: we helped establish the first chapter of an institution that will shape UAE cultural life for generations.

That is the only KPI that matters.
